Impact of Your Giving

This campaign began by listening to those who care deeply about the future of healthcare in our community. Through a comprehensive feasibility study, BHS engaged prospective donors to understand where their support could make the greatest difference. Three priorities emerged: revitalizing Fairview Hospital, advancing cancer care, and strengthening access to primary care. Together, these priorities reflect both the most pressing needs of our health system and meaningful opportunities for donors to help shape the future of care across the Berkshires.

Charitable Remainder Trust
Place an asset in a trust, receive income from it during your lifetime, and let a BHS hospital receive the remainder later.

Retirement Account Beneficiary Designation
One of the easiest ways to create a charitable legacy is by naming a BHS Hospital as a beneficiary of your retirement account, such as a 401(k), 403(b), traditional IRA, or other tax-deferred plan. Request a beneficiary designation form from your plan administrator or make the update online—it’s that simple.

IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)
